You’ll be contributing to full-fledged product development as well as bespoke implementations—helping clients in insurance, banking, e-commerce etc. innovate around customer engagement, risk assessment, self-service, support scaling, and insight generation.
As a Lead / Senior Node Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-grade backend services, scalable APIs, cloud-native architectures, and AI-integrated platforms. This role requires strong expertise in Node.js, MySQL, cloud infrastructure, API development, and AI service integrations, along with leadership capabilities to mentor junior engineers and drive end-to-end ownership of critical backend services.
Must Have Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Node.js and MySQL.
- Proficiency in REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
- Kubernetes and Python knowledge is a plus.
- Experience integrating AI/ML or chatbot solutions into production systems.
Additional Skills
- Experience with Angular or React.
- Full-stack development experience is a strong plus.
- Ability to design and architect backend modules.
- Experience building secure and scalable APIs.
- Exposure to AI feature integrations.
- Mentoring and end-to-end delivery experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Build secure, high-performance REST and GraphQL APIs for enterprise applications.
- Drive integration of AI/ML models, chatbot platforms, and intelligent automation solutions into backend systems.
- Optimize backend services for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, AI engineers, DevOps teams, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.
- Ensure code quality through best engineering practices, code reviews, and automated testing.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across backend initiatives.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of critical systems.
- Participate actively in Agile sprint ceremonies and contribute to technical planning and estimations.
